Just a reminder that there is just over 24 hours left until the final USA Ultimate roster deadline. ALL rosters will need to be in their final configuration by 5PM tomorrow.

Also, please send the $150USD tournament fee for UNY sectionals.

Submit roster information by September 13th

All,

Not having roster information complete requires that everyone show up to the fields early so that all of these issues can be resolved. Please get everyone's roster requirements (USAU memberships and Waivers) handled by a September 13 deadline.

This will make Saturday morning go much smoother and will allow everyone to sleep a little bit longer.

Only 48 hours to go for the roster registration deadline for USA Ultimate NE Upstate 2010 Open Sectionals.

This year a roster needs to consist of 10 players by August 27th at 5PM unless your team is eligible for the college exemption. College teams only need one roster member by August 27th.

College Teams:

In addition to rostering one player by August 27th you need to file for the college exemption to play in UNY Sectionals.

This is a simple thing to do. Just follow the steps below:

By August 27th the team must contact the Championship Manager and request the college extension. Teams need to include in their request the school name, club section, start of term, and team contact.

AND

By the Finalized Roster Deadline (September 14th), the full team must be entered into the online rostering system. The college extension teams are exempt from the 7 player additions maximum. If a team (see Player minimums, above) is not registered and valid by that deadline, the team will be dropped from the Series.

Location: Ellison Park Rochester, NY

Cost: $150.00 / Team

This includes Team food (Fruit / Bagels & Donuts / Goodies) and Water
Emergency Medical Personnel will be on hand

The rostering deadline for this years Club Series is August 27th 5pm MDT. This is the most important date. There has been a change in rostering requirements for 2010. In the past 7 players is all it took to create a roster. That number has been increased to 10 players for 2010. The reason is that we getting a lot of teams that would roster with only 7 players and then never add anyone else and then drop right before sectionals. This created more work for HQ working with teams we thought were going to be there. Hopefully by upping the amount of players needed to form a team we will cut down on the amount of teams signing up on a whim and then dropping out. This does not impact the College Exception Rule which allows school based teams to create a roster with only one player.

Final Schedule Available

The final schedule is available.

The captains meeting will be at 9:00AM

Registration for players needing to complete UPA requirements (waivers and dues) will begin at 8:30AM.

Each player MUST have completed their UPA requirements BEFORE playing in any game.

Sectionals Update

All,

Remember Tuesday September 15th is the Sectional Fee and Roster Deadline. Please submit your sectional fee and complete your roster by Tuesday September 15th.

We have had one team drop out of sectionals. I expect that we wills still have two bids to regionals but that will depend on the final team count which will be known tomorrow. I have posted an updated schedule below. Please let me know if you have questions or comments.
